Varmt välkommen till invigningen av Performance Center – PC!
Performance Center – PC, är ett konceptuellt konstverk av Anna Kinbom och Vilda Kvist. I framtiden ämnar PC att vara en permanent plats och fristad för performance inom samtidskonst, dess entusiaster och utövare. På PC produceras och visas performance-verk, där möts konstnärer och fältets diskurs frodas som det vackraste ogräs.
För närvarande är PC en visionär plats som gästar befintliga rum. Den 27 juni kl 18.30-22 tar PC steget ut i världen på Kulturhuset Cyklopen och presenteras för allmänheten. Inbjudna akter till invigningen av PC är följande:
Bengt af Klintberg föreläser om Fluxusrörelsen och John Willgren och Carolina Nylund framför varsitt performance-verk. Denna afton presenteras även Performance Center – PC och dess vision för framtiden, hemsida samt performance-karaktärerna Berit och Rulle som driver PC. På hemsidan presenteras en intervju med Carola Dertnig om ateljén som plats för performance-konstnären inom samtida konst.

Welcome to the launching of Performance Center – PC!
Performance Center – PC, is a conceptual artwork by Anna Kinbom and Vilda Kvist. The future aim for PC is a permanent space, a haven for performance in contemporary art and its enthusiasts and practitioners.
At PC, performances will be produced and shown, artists will meet and the field’s discourses will flourish as the most beautiful green grass.
Currently PC is a visionary space, who appears in already existing venues.
The 27thof June PC is entering the world and meeting the public for the first time at
18.30-22.00 at Kulturhuset Cyklopen.
Invited acts for the launching of PC are:
Bengt af Klintberg lectures on the Fluxus movement and John Willgren will perform his piece Cavatina and Carolina Nylund will show her performance The Baywitch. This very evening Performance Center – PC, and its vision for the future will be presented, as well as the PC website and the performance characters Berit and Rulle who run PC. On the website there will be an interview with Carola Dertnig about the studio of the performance artist in fine arts.
