Cyklopen is proud to be one of the many stages in the ongoing Stockholm Fringe Festival. On Wednesday 28th of August you are invited to see the breathtaking ”Today, Tomorrow, and the Tales from the Wind” at 19:00.
”Today, Tomorrow, and the Tales from the Wind” is an immersive concert combining sound art, vocal experimentation, and photographic art. This concert takes the audience on an ethereal journey across Finland, Iceland, and Sweden through visuals and sound, exploring human-nature coexistence, the sense of home, memory, and imagination in the Anthropocene era.
This ongoing project has been developed across the Nordic regions, drawing inspiration from heritage, folklore, myths, and contemporary environmental challenges such as deforestation and glacier melting. It reimagines a delicate utopia by documenting and reconstructing visual and sonic elements, including the whispers of the wind, the melodies of birds, the rugged resonance of rocks, and the ethereal echoes of the sea. The project showcases a 4-octave vocal range in an immersive world, creating a sensory experience that captures the human connection with evolving natural landscapes.
