Together with Sino-Queer Sweden, the diasporic sinophone queer/feminists in Sweden, Cyklopen invites you to 

Yihui Shao’s Her Story showcases the charm of storytelling through a unique female perspective. With the “Her Story” screening series, we hope to spotlight more female creators and bring more outstanding works into view and the conversation. For this screening, we’ve invited two independent female directors from China to share their lives and creative journeys with us.

A “selfish giant” refuses to leave her bed, not even at gunpoint. Eventually, the sounds of birds and the feeling of socks awaken her. Venturing outdoors, she finds a lost copy of Oscar Wilde’s fairy tales and meets a new friend named “Sock”. Yet, selfishness has been coming back now and then…
